Frequently Asked Questions
For Representatives
What is contract maintenance, and when can I use it?
Contract maintenance is a targeted update in which Foundwell Legal drafts or updates one clause in your contract to reflect a change in your services, policies, or applicable law. It is different from Clause Review, which evaluates feedback another party has proposed to one clause or term.
What can we discuss during the consultation?
The consultation is a chance for us to meet, discuss your needs, learn more about Foundwell Legal's services, and talk through whether working together may be a good fit.
What can Foundwell Legal handle for my company?
Foundwell Legal can review brand deals and proposed edits, draft management and talent agency agreements, prepare contracts for your team, and assist with confidentiality, website documents, terminations, and overdue payments. We can discuss your current needs and identify where legal support would be most useful.
Do you offer ongoing support for a high volume of brand deals?
Yes. Monthly review plans and customized packages are available for representatives who regularly receive brand deals for their clients. This provides a defined amount of review capacity each month and more predictable legal costs.
Can you work with clients based anywhere?
Usually, yes. Foundwell Legal is a California law practice and works with clients nationwide on general business contracts, which we can place under California or another agreed-upon governing law. Because Foundwell Legal is licensed only in California, if your deal turns on another state's specific laws we will advise you to work with an attorney in your state. Foundwell Legal does not hold itself out as licensed outside California.
